I know what you’re thinking. It’s really hot and Im out here wearing all black lol. I know, I know impractical right? – but the poetic, painter, classical musician in me can’t help it. I seriously cant, and I think my all black obsession is about to turn up. There’s been a massive heat wave too. I guess I’ll just have to find a way to deal.

One thing that I love about personal style is that it goes where you point it. You’re the captain of your wardrobe. I tend to cling to anything that has the ability to re-invent itself constantly because inside that’s how I truly feel. I feel like a hybrid of things, I’m multi passionate and always curious so I’m so glad that my clothes/style can change and evolve with me. I’m zero’ing in on what makes me the most comfortable and on what makes me feel the most beautiful.  I’m liking the less is more approach to style these days. If I feel like dressing like I just stepped out of the swing era next month, who can say there’s anything wrong with that?

Are you one to invest in high end pieces and wear them for years – or would you rather buy lower end trendy pieces that you can guiltlessly put aside once you’re into something else? I KNOW I’m more of a put aside and move on to another thing kind of girl. I change my mind a lot, I find new interests and dislikes on the regular – but that’s ok because in the process I’m finding consistency through exploring my options in personal style and in life! I’m closing in on who I really am and who I want to be. Who knew something as “silly” as fashion could do that for a person.

Thanks for reading, until next time!
