Boobyball: Ottawa’s most epic breast cancer fundraising event

I can hardly wait for the 3rd annual BOOBYBALL, taking place at LAGO BAR AND GRILL in Ottawa on October 27th!

Not only does this event (in my opinion) have a super memorable name, but – BOOBYBALL is a costume party with a cause! This epic 90’s themed party advocates and raises money to provide women with the resources and support necessary to live with breast cancer. This year’s theme promotes physical activity and the costume possibilities are SO FUN. I had a blast going through my American Apparel wardrobe from High School (Yes, it all still fits at 31 weeks preggo) and sifting through racks on racks at Value Village this past weekend!

The event’s proceeds will be utilized by RETHINK BREAST CANCER, an organization that provides tailored support and resources to young women with breast cancer with the goal of helping to make their journeys a little easier.

DID YOU KNOW: 1 in 8 Canadian women will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year. With that said, I feel fortunate and honoured to be able to help shine a light on an event with such a strong sense of purpose and responsibility.
